Samsung is reportedly going to replace notification LED setup in its smartphones. According to reports the company is working on a new feature dubbed "Smart Glow" that will be an alternative to the existing notification LED on Galaxy smartphones.
Smart Glow will be be located at the back of the smartphone around the camera lens, and will glow when you receive a notification on your device. It will change color depending on the priority or usage alerts, battery status, mobile data, storage and other functions. You will also be able to choose the color of the Smart Glow notification light, based on the type of notifications such as phone call, e-mail, text message. It also doubles as a flash when required.
The Smart Glow feature will also come handy to selfie lovers. When you click selfies with rear camera, Smart Glow will turn blue when your face is in the field of view, and you're good to go.
Smart Glow is expected to feature on the Samsung Galaxy J2 2016. However, it not known if the feature will be included on Galaxy Note 7.
